Two days ago, I finally finished the first draft of my manuscript and sent it off to the agent I'm in contact with!! It's so hard to believe I've finally got an actual manuscript, and not just ideas and a feeling and little excerpts.

It's a thing!!!!

I had it printed and bound, and it arrived at my house today. I flipped through it, and immediately began convincing myself the whole thing is bad and being embarrassed about it. No!!!! It's the first full version of my book, and the fun of it is to edit and change and scrapbook the fuck out of it, hopefully with the advice of people who know better than me. I really hope I get the agent, and either way I'm just excited to hear what she thinks, and how I can make it better. A big thing!!
